Takes forever to get into Safe Mode?

When ever I try and boot into safe mode it takes really long time, after it loads AGP400.sys or what ever ( it's on the last of the list it loads ) it takes about 3-4 minutes to get into safe mode.

What could be causing this? Or is it normal?

I don't have any viruses and I don't have any resource hogging programs like Norton or anything

Safe mode can take a long time. I suspect its normal for your setup.
