I am trying to hook up a dell AIO photo 964 printer on my dell AIO 922. I really do not know anything about computers (when i graduated from high school in1981 we did not have computers) does downloading a driver help me to accomplish this SIMPLE task ?
can someone answer this for me?

yes indeed you need a driver, still check out on the Dell's site, i don't know if can post URL here.

hello ...

been 14 years since i got my first personal PC ... was so happy, was a 486DX2 6 Mhz with only 2 Gb HDD & 8 MB EDO RAM... a VESA Local Bus GFX card.

now where have we gone, today we speak of Terabyte, Gigaflops, 9 core CPUs & more.

hope i can get another new PC, the latest upgrade i made was some 6 years ago.

my pals wants me to join then for a MW2 party, the pb: i'm on PS3 & the PC not built yet. this will be a good start to the some free components ... will be able to please my 15 year old pals

i'm also starting a new course on GFX design, would need some beast to do some processing, even if the card not really good for rendering, can still be a good 1st workstation for the creating process. I need a card with Shader 2.0 for a start. Moreover if any of you have any suggestions, thank you!
