The Best PC Games (You Should Be Playing)

Horrible list, don't start off a list of PC games you should be playing with Console ports. Mind you all these games are better of PC, than again ALL games are better on PC. How about some PC Exclusives? Total war warhammer 2, Subnautica, Rimworld, get games that console players are completely missing out on.

So, most of the best games to play on pc are on consoles, too! And you wonder why people prefer consoles and the big titles sale a lot more on consoles. All of my friends on pc are stuck on Fortnite, Pubg, Lol and Mu. Where are the new high level strategy games? Where are the great shooters?

We lost a lot of exclusives lately. I played PC in a time we had Quake 1, MDK, Little big adventure, dark earth, black and white, crysis 1, soldier of fortune, exhumed etc. Nowadays all we get is console ports, no more pc exclusives that force you to buy a new gpu and push the boundaries.

Every friend I have that games on a pc plays the same thing: cs go, lol, dota, pubg, fortnite, heartstone, overwatch. It seems like pc is more and more the platform for tryhard or guys that dream to be e sports players. As it provides mouse and keyboard as superior input for those type of games.

Overwatch was fun, but there are too many toxic players. Every single game. Everyone I know has quit playing because of this.

I'm finding it really hard to be excited for games these last few years. We get so many stinkers, so many poorly made games, the rampant monetization, and the lack of "fresh paint" or new IPs in general. Hell, one of the games on this "best of 2018" list came out in 2013 FFS!

Just cause 4 was the one game I was looking forward to, and besides being a graphical downgrade in areas, its performance is absolutely atrocious, and the story doesnt look to be much better then 3's. A far cry from JC2's campiness.

The only game I have left to look forward to is Ace Combat 7, and Hoping, against all odds, that project aces learned their lesson with assault horizon and delivers a proper arcade flyer this time. The footage we have seen is amazingly promising, but I reserve judgement for the full release.

Maybe in my old age (early 20s) I am simply being left behind by the gaming industry? It just feels like a shell of its former self. We dont get the same games we were getting in the golden era, and that makes me sad.
OLD Age !? HAHAHA Um hey sorry didnt mean to burst out laughing in your face son! I was in my early 20s when Half Life was a thing on PCs but I dont hate the new school or dont regret being part of the old days! Just sit tight have patience and something great(a game) will come your way! And if Not ..maybe time to find a new hobby. Consider yourself (Ol) schooled

The games released this year and last year seriously disprove what you just said. COD and BF are not the only games to be released.

Not really, by and large the vast majority of indie games are little more than shovelware, AAA titles are increasingly samey and open world games filled with mindless filler content. And the AAA industry is the real indicator for where gaming is going, with franchises increasingly dumbing down gameplay.

Comapred to being listed several popular games (which are too easy and meaningless for the gamers) on the market, I prefer to see some game peripherals evaluation articles such as flying joysticks, actually.

Actuall, I find Odyssey geberally looks worse than Orignins. The ground textures for type of European setting in the game look pretty bad and magnify the standing"elephant in the room" that laughs at less noticeable features like RTX or DLSS. Origin's more Nile/Sahara setting requires less to look good because of the generally simple nature of the ground represented. Also Origins has a far tighter story resulting in decreasing the perceived grind. Naval combat goes to Odyssey though.
