I can't disagree with Helldivers 2 being picked. The game has a good foundation, but if you aren't able to play with friends the game is way too punishing for solo players. Every time I've joined a group I've been kicked after helping complete all objectives. I brought this up with customer support and they said any changes would lead to players creating a toxic environment my response "could it be any more toxic than killing the player who was matched with a group and not letting them respawn or kicked before leaving on the drop ship giving them no rewards for their effort".
Most weapons I earned ended up being worse than the ones I started the game with. The dev also kept nerfing weapons in a non-PVP game meaning the weapons that were good, and that people earned were rendered pointless.
It's a terribly managed game that's alienated anyone who has to join other groups to progress.

The best game that I'm playing is called Bitcoin. No other game gives you this amount of excitement, trust me! Fortune keeps changing hands, you can be up in hundreds of points in one day, and go broke the next. It is fun.

Playing Horizon zero dawn remastered. So far It's pretty good and looks nice. I purchased the whole thing for $20 and never played the original. Still playing Vermintide 2 lol.

Beat the story mode of spacemarine 2 yesterday, incredible, most devs bungle their final missions/fight, not spacemarine, game went full throttle to the very end.
Bought diablo4....was a waste of money for me imho, no shield class just ruined it, diablo3 & immortal had crusaders, why doesnt this one? you literally fight evil demons, thats their f***in job, I tried barbarian but spinning in a circle got tiresome before the last chapter, I bought it so maybe they'll bolt one on in a few years.
I ignored silent hill 2 because I can look at my bookshelf and see my perfectly fine ps2 copy sitting there.

Posting user scores is useless. This is just a bunch of crybaby whiners. Elden Ring DLC is near a 10 imo so the 9.4 is reasonable yet people are saying 8.4? Vessel of a Hatred is a 4.0? Sure it's no D1 or D2 but lol come on. This can't be taken seriously.

Bias in what direction? Over time the likelihood is that the bias will cancel out. Ultimately it is the best we have to work with.
I absolutely love Tactical Breach Wizards, and the previous game from the dev, Heat Signature. But why is it always that an amazing low requirement game drops right when I upgrade my PC? lol
Thanks. Diablo 4 being online only with no single player offline campaign mode a big turnoff for many. Also you're battling the forces of hell but Paladin/Crusader (board and sword) didn't make the cut but loads of 'weird' type characters did. Can't play until they sort this

Of course, this is all subjective. One thing to note about this list (I’ve been following it for the past few editions) is that it’s not based on aggregate scores arranged from highest to lowest. Instead, it reflects the personal recommendations of TechSpot writers who play games and highlight what they’re enjoying most at the moment. I find that approach interesting.
They usually cover more genres than I personally prefer to play. Sports games are usually missing from the list although those are usually better served on consoles than PC.
