The End of 38 Studios, Big Huge Games?

PROVIDENCE —Curt Schilling’s embattled video game company 38 Studios has reportedly handed out pink slips to all of its nearly 400 workers in Rhode Island and Maryland.

A memo sent to all 38 Studios employees today said the company “is experiencing an economic downturn.”​

“To avoid further losses and possibility of retrenchment, the company has decided that a companywide layoff is absolutely necessary,” a copy of the memo reads.​

Really sad to hear this. After playing KoA: Reckoning I had high hopes for future games from 38.
