With new drivers and game updates in play, we revisit the Radeon RX 9070 XT to see how it stacks up against our day-one data. Is this real FineWine, or just minor gains?

Hmm, reviews didn't show too much performance increase against my 3080:
3080 -- 29.77 TFLOPS vs RX 9070 XT 48.66 --TFLOPS , around 20%
Damn, where'd you find that? The lowest I can find at Micro Center right now is $825 for the Zotac; I know Micro Center's not the only game around, but they usually have the cheapest US prices since they're one of the only companies that actually tries to fight resellers. That's also a rosier picture than the $900 TS is quoting here, but they also still have the 9070 XT for $700 from ASRock, so AMD's card is still arguably better value."The 5070 Ti, however, appears to be back up to $900"
Only if you are buying into the marketing of some brands. The PNY model which is a solid reference card, can be had for $750. While stock is not great, I was able to pick one last month for MSRP.
AMD’s poor seems to be better than nVidia’s best, these days.Fine wine or poor drivers at launch?
People say this, but my 4080S is rock solid compared to what I went through with my 7900XTX.AMD’s poor seems to be better than nVidia’s best, these days.
I went from 3080 (10GB) to 9070XT shortly after it was launched. Still very happy with the upgrade. I game mostly 5120x1440 and all is good.
I purchased the 3080 with huge pandemic tax. It was a great card, but that tax always hurt. The 9070 just feels like such a bargain after that!
Comparing TFLOPS is pointless. Especially across generations and architectures. At best TFLOPS can give some indication when comparing within the same family of cards.Hmm, reviews didn't show too much performance increase against my 3080:

It's the 50 series that has been most affected by Nvidia's buggy drivers.People say this, but my 4080S is rock solid compared to what I went through with my 7900XTX.
Maybe it's all tech influencers farming rage clicks...
