AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT vs. Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 Ti: 50 Game Benchmark

The problem is that these MSRPs are meaningless and street prices mean that you're not saving much for the ray tracing, upscaling, game support, and driver quality hit.

Upscaling is a downgrade in image fidelity and anyone saying otherwise is either a fanboy or a BLIND fanboy.

4k with dlss q performs identical to native 1440p, but looks way way better. So native is a downgrade in image quality and whoever says otherwise is BLIND fanboy.

Yep. rtx 5070ti 900-1100 dollars. 9070xt 800 900. Roughly 100 dollar difference in the US now.

Btw, for those who want to get more desirable 9070xt, they appear ocasionally on Amazon and Newegg as well.
I saw Nitro card which seems to be the most kick *** card in the lineup. I was tempted for a moment to get it. Devil one is also much more desirable according to my monitoring.

If you need a discord to monitor and buy one of the rarer cards, let me know. I realized that it is much easier than I thought.
Canada Computers has stock of 9070XT cards selling for under US $680. Amazon and Newegg are still scalping, you're better off with a brick and mortar store. Even Best Buy has 9070XT cards selling for around $650-680 (depending on your location).

I monitored bestbuy online. Whenever one pops up on their site, it is gone even faster than it is on Amazon. I gave up a month ago. There were none lower than like 800 or 900 us bucks depending on the model.
5070ti was even smaller markup for some reason. For a long time it and 9070xt were selling at a similar price which means 9070xt was selling for more than 5070ti

You gave up to soon if you did it a month ago. The supply of 9070xt cards has improved since. Besides there’s got to be better brick and mortar stores close to where you live.
This is how I bought my card at the end of March: paid the deposit in the morning and picked it up at lunch, close to my work.

This second at my Local Microcenter (in store prices):
9070XT - 2 in stock at $860, 2 in stock at $900
5070Ti - 14 in stock at $1,000.

At these prices the 5070Ti is a no-brainer.

Not really. At those prices I would hold whatever card I have already and buy nothing.
A no brainer is a 9070XT at $650 (what I paid).
A 5070Ti at $1000 is more of a rip off than anything else.
