This is the new Samsung Galaxy S8

Typical Samsung. Even the word "plus" is being used here. its not patented word but come on, Get yourself a name that will make sure you are different to your main rival.

The autofocus front camera would be sure hot to millenials.

Other than that, Bixby would be a flop unless they can force people to use their half baked apps.

Coming soon as 'the big wheel of life' turns continuously, "A New Model Portable Telephone Small Enough To Fit in A Pocket and Hand."

"More companies should put the finger printer scanner on the back of the device"

Why, exactly? When the phone is sitting in front of you on a table or desk, the back location forces you to pick the phone up, turn it around, use the scanner, then turn it around again, maybe set it back down. On the S7, you just push the Home button while it sits there and you're in.

Not sure why you think the inconvenience is somehow a better idea...

I see where you're coming from, but I cant say I've ever felt like it was an inconvenience to turn it over. If I'm going for my phone its because I'm getting a notification I'm unable to receive on my PC so it's required I need to look at the device. When picking up the phone it also feels more natural to just rest my finger in the center of the device like I used to do with my old flip phone instead of fumbling with my thumb on the face of the device. I have tiny hands its sucks :-/

I guess the caption for "Unbox your phone" is "When you see the price it will send you into orbit"

Lol... it's what Samsung has always done! Find someone's good idea and copy it, refine it, and make it just different enough so that you won't lose a lawsuit (although sometimes they fail at the last part). Remember the Motorola Razr that was shortly followed by the Samsung Blade? Hmmmm...

Fingerprint reader location is a major downside. Iris scan doesn't work in the dark nor if you leave your phone flat on a table. Facial recognition is so insecure it's laughable.

I think I might be passing on this one.

You obviously haven't used a fingerprint reader on the back where it feels much more natural and I'm not that clumsy to try to use my phone flat on a table like its a pain to even raise it for a few seconds, hope the smartphone you want to use has much better security options than those 3 you mentioned, probably a slide to the right and type a 4 pin password LOL

Interesting you are just referring Samsung for that, hope you don't think apple its the most innovative company on the planet for inventing the rounded rectangle.

More companies should put the finger printer scanner on the back of the device. I don't understand why everyone thinks its such a hassle compared to the front of the device. I didn't think I would like it on my Nexus 6p, but I adored it and was happy to see the same configuration on the Pixel.

Probably in a couple of years you will want a machine to walk, breath and eat also because of the inconvenience

At least Apple has the decency of hiding their copying a bit more... Samsung doesn't even try
