Tiger Woods 2005 Online Play - Will Not connect with my Friend, but can play others

My friend and I have no trouble playing other peoples hosted matches (except the occasional disconnects), yet we can't seem to connect with one another. We both have Comcast as our ISP if that helps. We are able to see each other within the rooms, we can create our own rooms, we can host games, but when it comes to accepting each others challenges, we get a message saying that the other was unable to connect. What gives? Please help. Thanks
