Toshiba C850-F12 not typing some keys (a,b,n, enter) despite multiple troubleshooting options.

More information.

1. External USB keyboard works.

2. Replaced the laptop keyboard with a new one but the same keys do not work.
3. Track pad stopped working for a while but started once I uninstalled it and searched for new hardware. This does not work for the keyboard.
4. I updated the bios, didn't help
5. Loaded puppy linux from USB, same keys do not work.

I have run out of ideas please help.

Maybe that can be a circuit problem on the motherboard, I recommend you to to get your pc to a repair shop

Kinyua where exactly did you buy your keyboard from ?
Double check for me and make sure the ribbon isn't bent up in correctly when you inserted it in.
The ribbon strip has to be in correctly before you close the little tab to secure it.
Otherwise some of the issues you are describing may happen.
