Hey everybody, I've been troubleshooting this Toshiba Satellite (A215-S7462) laptop last couple of days and I can't seem to solve the problem. The battery on the system for whatever reason will NOT charge while the system is on and in windows. It charges fine while the computer is off. But while on it says "plugged in, charging" yet the battery only depletes.
It was originally running windows vista, but is now running W7-64bit. I've installed all the latest drivers, bios updates, etc. I've also disassembled and cleaned out the entire laptop, and re-applied thermal paste on the CPU. (I originally thought it was a overheating issue.) I'm not too sure where to go from here so any help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
