Toshiba Satellite A series compatibility

Hi, I have a toshiba laptop satellite series a210-127 from 2007. Have had no serious hassles except for 3-4 faulty hdds which toshiba covered each time except for once when I was out of warranty.
Since Toshiba is closing in Greece...with everything else to boot, I was thinking of getting a new laptop. but I started searching the web (my satellite needs a new screen (a bit cracked in the corner) anew battery ,anew hard drive and if possible an extra 2gb of ram) ,which ultimately means a new laptop.
For my question.....since I've found a lot of used a series satellites but not an a210-127, I was hoping someone could tell me if the a series are compatible with each other especially as screens ,batteries,ram hard drive are concerned?
How can I find out which other satellites my a210 is compatible with?

Good luck....if it were a Lenovo, I would send you here [ http://support.lenovo.com/us/en/partslookup ] as it supports a 'reverse' lookup. Sounds like an opportunity for someone.

Well yeah...turns out it needed a bit of here and there and everywhere, but I think I've worked it out . Thanks a lot ,your suggestion was by far the most helpfull and also led me to other sites that helped as well. All's well that ends well. chow
