Toshiba Satellite L645D just stays on Boot Menu

Hello,
Looking for some ideas to try. When I press power it shows the toshiba logo and at the bottom shows options to press F2 or F12, then goes straight to a screen at the top just says

Boot Menu

1.HDD/SSD
2.eSata
3.CD?DVD
4.FDD
5.LAN
6.USB

Not sure where to go from here, because if I press what its highlighted on, I get no response.
any help would be appreciated.

The hard drive has failed... You can take it to a repair shop and have the hard drive replaced and Windows re-installed

Another thing I should add is that this morning, I was able for some odd reason to get the safe mode screen up again but it wouldnt load or when I pressed enter on any option all it did was highlight every option by itself
