Touch keyboard has some emojis replaced with blank squares

The emoji panel of the Win10 touch keyboard has lost several emojis and replaced them with empty squares. Other symbols are affected as well. They were all there a few days ago. What gives?

Not sure what you mean by inappropriate format.

I also wondered if it might be font related. I had some font corruption a little while back but managed to resolve it. Could this be related to that?
