The "crimes against humanity" you imagine are identical to those claimed by Lenin's Bolsheviks, Cambodia's Khmer Rouge and Robespierre's "reign of terror" -- possessing wealth the common man covets.

Also, the Nuremburg Trials only put on trial those who directly ordered atrocities. The term "collaborators" is from the lexicon of the authoritian Left, who applied the label to any political opponent they wish to execute.

Crimes against Humanity was the fourth count on the Indictment, the Nuremburg Trials were much more extensive in the crime they prosecuted.

Recent events in the Persian Gulf are arguably covered the accusations in count two, namely planning, preparation, initiation, and waging of wars of aggression, which were also wars in violation of international treaties, agreements, and assurances.
