Gun violence results in tens of thousands of deaths and injuries. In 2013, there were 73,505 nonfatal firearm injuries (23.2 injuries per 100,000 U.S. citizens), and 33,636 deaths due to "injury by firearms" (10.6 deaths per 100,000 U.S. citizens).
Drunk drivers very often only kill THEMSELVES - that doesn't mean that they are not scumbags for risking other people's lives - but what are you going to do, Shoot them? (stupid question as in the U.S.A. you probably will).

Sounds to me like ignorant gun owners are also scumbags for putting other people's, and perhaps their own, lives at risk of injury or death.

But, WTF? Maybe we should put guns into the hands of everyone - the Darwin Awards will have a field-day!

Typical lefty leaves out most of the vital info to support his twisted narrative. Its mostly chicago in the whole state and mostly just a couple blocks within that city. Most of the guns used are not registered. Also you may wanna look over to the UK were they use knifes instead.

I just think that getting this conversations about GUNS in the video game scope is dumb... Talk about the real guns, video game violence is not the root cause of this.

Edit: I'm not saying real guns cause violence, I'm just trying to say they should talk about REAL causes of violence... not video games. Like problems in the education system, poverty, social tension, yada yada yada... But noooo mister Big president must talk about video game.
At least he could choose a better smoke screen than the old dead horse video game violence...
