(U)SIM full, please delete or else can't receive

I have recently started getting a warning:

"(U)SIM full, please delete or else cann't receive."

I use a D-Link usb dongle to connect to the net, and there are no SMS’s on the SIM card.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No. This is a mobile service provider.

I hook up to the internet using the sim in a D-Link usb dongle/datacard.

The service provider: Reliance ADA.

Have you checked/tried a firmware update? (note they warn it should be done over a wired connection)
