UK cell towers set on fire over 5G Covid-19 conspiracy theories

Unfortunately, more specifically to the case of this virus, corona viruses like SARS and MERS tend to only grant temporary and mild immunity to the people who catch it and recover from it. There have already been some reports of people being re-infected, but we are only 3.5 months in, so it may take some time to pin down what the risk of re-infection actually is. But it may actually result in COVID19 being seasonal until a vaccine is developed.
I get the idea of a vaccine. However, there's another concern, too. That is what was brought up when people were claiming it was created in a lab in China.

The one quote I remember from an "expert" about the probability of it being developed in a lab was something along the lines of - "The viruses in nature that we don't know about are the problem."

So, a vaccine for COVID-19 might be developed and it might work. Then then next unknown comes along.

Make vaccines free and non-profitabe. That might help filter out the true health hazards.

The 5G conspiracy is a hoax to draw people's attention away from the real conspiracy. COVID-19 was created in a lab. There's even paper trail, because the research was published in Nature, the most prestigious scientific journal:

https://www.nature.com/news/engineered-bat-virus-stirs-debate-over-risky-research-1.18787

They even had to add a comment denying that it's the same virus. It's similar to when a husband finds his wife and a mailman naked in the bed and she says: "It's not what you think".

COVID-19 was developed in a lab as a mix between SARS and ordinary flu, resulting in a virus that has around 5% mortality. Serious enough to kill certain number of older or weaker people, but not too serious to cause piles of bodies on the streets and secondary pandemics. In other words, serious enough to cause a major economic crisis.

But that is a very fatalist argument.

"Yeah, we can fix this one problem - but then another one will eventually come along, so why bother at all?"

Because then you're dealing with two diseases that have no treatment or vaccine, instead of just one.

Yeah, heard that before. RN: "That sounds like an allergic reaction. You should be tested for allergies."

Uh, NO. Why? I never get the flu, so why should I get the flu shot, let alone subject myself to a battery of allergy tests just so I can get the flu shot that I don't need.

My MD has NEVER even suggested that I get tested for allergies to the components flu shot. However, like I said, its pointless because I never get the flu.

Honestly, experiences like this, including doctors telling me that I was crazy because I told them that I get the flu from the flu shot (which, BTW, flu symptoms ARE symptoms of an adverse reaction to the flu shot - though two doctors are apparently too stupid to know this) are what turns me away from medicine.

Whether or not they make money on vaccines is only part of my beef with current medicine. That a doctor cannot take the time to see if flu symptoms are symptoms of an adverse reaction to the flu shot before implying a patient is nuts is, in itself, nuts.

Most medical practices these days are run to maximize profit. When $$$ has become more important than listening to patients and ridiculing them when they are actually right, there is something very wrong, IMO, with "medicine" these days.

The thing is, medicine is a practice, and a practice implies that mistakes are there waiting to be made.

To be fair, the biggest problem in the medical profession is they get paid per-test/per-visit, and not per-case. But Capitalism!

And you absolutely get tested to see what in the vaccine is causing issues, because of the possibility some other medicine you may need to take in the future has a similar component. For example, I had a reaction to a vaccine years ago. I got tested, and it turned out I'm basically allergic to the entire Penicillin line of drugs. Useful to know and have documented in case I ever get hospitalized, wouldn't you say?

Just becoz you've never had the flu ?? (how do you know?) doesnt mean you won't get the flu. No-one is immune to the flu, there might be varied reactions from virtually nothing to life threatening, plus it mutates, so future strains may get you.
(Some) American Doctors want to perform Pecunia-itis, Vidulusectomy on their Patients.

WTF are you talking about? I searched, "Vidulusectomy", and got exactly ONE (1) result, which led back here to your post.
