Uninstalling Windows Vista question

Hi. Currently, Windows Vista is the only operating system on this computer. There were no other operating systems before Windows Vista. I'm planning to completely uninstall it for personal reasons; also, I'm not doing any downgrading and what not. If I completely uninstall Windows Vista, will I be able to use the serial key still in the future?

Note: The Windows Vista is an OEM.

Since it's an OEM version, as far as I know you will be able to use Vista on that particular machine. In theory, you will not be able to use it (I mean activate it) on any other computer.
