Upgrading questions

Hey guys just had a few questions regarding my laptop and upgrades. I currently have a Asus g50vt ( Intel core 2 duo P7450@ 2.13, 4.0gb RAM, Nvidia Geforce 9800m 512mb.) And I was going to upgrade the cpu to a Intel Core 2 Duo T9600 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16819111006&cm_re=T9600-_-19-111-006-_-Product

So my question is will this cpu fit with my laptop? Would It cause any problems? Also my laptop comes with this overclocking feature, will it work with this cpu? Thanks guys.

Aren't cpus usually soldered in laptops? Or am I way off? I know in some cases you can do it, but in others the option is not possible.

Na you can take it off, well with the Asus G series at least.
