USB adaptor for laptop hard drive

I have a hard drive from a dead lap top and I want to recover the pictures from it. I've read about USB adaptors that you can plug into your computer. Problem is I have no idea what kind I need and I can't find any info anywhere. The hard drive is a Hitachi, model is HTS543225L9A300. It's a SATA type but before I go out and buy a cable I need to know if I'm buying the right one. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
