Solved Very slow desktop

"not quite good" is rather vague. I need more details.

OK. before we started the cleanup, everything was veeery low... It took 100 seconds to open a home page with IE. Now it is much better, but still it takes about 45 seconds for the same task.

Is IE your only problem?
If so, open IE go Tools>Internet options>Advanced tab and click on "Reset" button.
Restart IE and see how it goes.

Hi, I did try to reset IE but it doesn't change anything

Do you have another browser installed?
If so, see if it gives you same issues.

I have two users on this computer - one account has IE, the other one has Mozilla Firefox.. There isn't really a difference... I installed Mozilla earlier hoping that this would be better than IE. After cleaning, they work faster, but still quite slow..
