Videos wont go "fullscreen"

Hey!

I just formated my computer and I have a problem when playing videos in fullscreen on my second monitor. This happens ONLY on the second monitor.
Here is a picture: http://imgur.com/a/aH848

Above and to the left of the black "picture" there is a piece of the background showing.

All drivers are up to date.

Any ideas how to fix this?

As the gap is filled by your desktop background it appears to be a software issue. It's very difficult to suggest anything without knowing which software you're playing the videos in.

Have you tried different software? MPC-HC, Streamed videos in your web browser, VLC etc. Do any of them exhibit the same symptoms, if so which programs do and which don't?

This issue can be attributed to either to the computer's graphics card or with the monitor itself. Same situation had happened to me and I tried the following steps.
  1. Right click the video,
  2. settings,
  3. click on the first tab and de-select "Enable hardware acceleration",
  4. restart the video.
Worked for me. Good luck!
