Virtual box OS?

Hi ,

i want to use virtualbox to practice networking stuff, i downloaded the program but i dont know how to get the operating systems,

i follow the instructions to make a new machine but get stuck at the installation medium.. i dont have any file for it, can i just use my win xp disc?

Yes you can use your Windows disc, or Linux, Unix, Mac, anything really.

You need to install the operating system like you would do if it was a real computer.

Don't forget that when you install windows on your virtual machine, it is like if you're installing Windows on a real computer, and you need to have/buy another license. I'm just warning you to avoid any problems with your original license key.
