Probably a dumb question from someone who has built 3 desktop PCs and managed to escape from a handful of nasty problems over the last ten years or so. In my addled brain I seem to have lost track of the distinction between virus and malware. Reading the hype from all the main purveyors of security software they all seem to claim to be all-powerful superheroes in the field. Alongside Windows Defender I am running Zonealarm Free antivirus and Malwarebytes Antimalware, with CCleaner on the side to keep things tidy. Am I missing something or am I considered to be relatively safe?
