  1. On 12/15/16 my pc W10 pc crashed & before I had a chance to save ANYthing, it got reformatted & ended up a W7. Last night I got it back to W10 but in the All Control Panel Items it shows Back up & Restore W7.
ANY chance of making it Back up & restore W10?
I've also got a friends Lenova ThinkPad with same question, thank youTIA :)

No, you were given that escape route back to W7 in case you were unable to cope with change or hit unexpected problems. You could use it as a very long way back to W10 if you screw things up. You will have to choose a different backup solution for W10.

@JamesandBennie & @bazz2004 , I don't recall what thread in here I saw it, but I was under the impression I could of reinstalled W10 only so it wouldn't go back to W7.
Answer me this, if one buys a new W10 pc, does it have a W7 back up or not?

Does not. If you do a clean install, it does not. If you upgrade from Win7, it does.

If I can, how do I do a clean install on my tower?

It's finally up and running again so it's best that you leave well alone. Instead, look into backing things up.
