Want your input on my bottleneck(s) and future upgrades

AMD Overdrive is not supported on the ASUS M4N98TD EVO as it's a non-AMD chipset. However, that should hardly matter. ASUS usually ships with a good enough BIOS to provide lots of overclocking options. The board is a particularly good choice since it will allow you to use a 2nd GTX 460 in SLI.

It should. It's advertised as having a "core unlocker". However, you should be aware, it's not guaranteed that your die will have a fourth core. Even if it does, it may be a damaged one.

I understand that, but even without being unlocked, the overclocking must at least increase performance. As I think is said in the topic, the overclock utility I use only decreases performance.

Okay, so I'm going to use the same topic. I don't want to create -another-.

Here's my current situation. I'm running the system in my specs. *points northeast* clickyclick

I'm wanting to 'finish' it. Most of it was meant to be a quick system that I could afford. I want to finish it. I can still only afford so much, but I can take my time.

I'm considering switching to Intel due to the much easier access to SLI/Intel boards in comparison to AMD/SLI. The price difference wouldn't be that great and according to benchmarks, there isn't much of a difference between the 1055t and the i5 760, and about the same difference between the 1055t and the 1090t. The i5 is overclockable, also, and it will allow me to *easily* run SLI.

Case-wise, I'm trying to figure out what I should do. I have plenty of options, but it's harder to afford something like an Antec Lanboy (which I find oh so attractive) but I want -something- decent that is large.

Have any ideas? (again)
