Watch Dogs torrent installing Bitcoin miner on unsuspecting pirates' PCs

This game is just a ripoff of grand theft auto.

Just so you guys know it wasn't a copy of the Skidrow torrent that caused this. It was an upload by a user with a username similar to Skidrow that uploaded a botched version that was malicious. So far this version seems to be entirely removed from most Torrent websites. Skidrow themselves are quite reputable, at least as reputable as warez groups could be I suppose.

Skidrow never released, the only scene group that did was Reloaded, and before that, a cracker named steam006 released the first crack then some chinese wannabe scene group named 3DM took steam006 crack and slapped their name on it.

You really need to play the game before commenting on it's performance and gameplay. The graphics look great on Ultra and the gameplay is just as good. I am having a blast with this game. Take the reviews with a grain of salt.

Due to the review embargo until day of release, the overall underwhelming reviews so far. Plus the lack of any demo and the difficulty involved in returning PC games.

I suspect ubi is trying to pull a fast one. And am glad of the opportunity to try before I buy.

Wait I have not been paying attention to the reviews of this game, are they really saying its not very good? I guess im going to look this up and see whats what.

Edit: Oh wow a couple 7's from the independent sites, guess its not living up to the hype after all, I still will probably grab a copy.

I'm confused. You don't want to buy the game until you've read reviews... but you absolutely must have it on day of release? You've gotta decide which is more important to you. If you don't want to be burned by a bad game then don't buy on release date - wait for the reviews and then decided. No one is entitled to making that decision for someone else.

Do some people still not know that this was a hoax from Ubisoft to discourage people pirating it?

Anyway, after playing it I was able to decide it's not worth the $80-100 it costs here.
I suspect they'll get it right with Watch Dogs 2, and I really hope they do so I can feel good in purchasing in that one.

Don't know about you, but I'm not willing to spend 60 bucks on a game that could be crap. no demo, no purchase, I'll pirate it. if it turns out to be a good game, then I'll think about buying it... and by good game, I mean enjoy playing the whole campaign. Not pick it up and play for an hour and go, "yeah that was pretty cool". most AAA games that have come out in the past 3ish years are worth no more than 10 bucks considering almost everything is a rehash of an older game lately
