What I would love to see is this, many influencers said that buying a 4080 was better since the price difference between it and the 7900XTX was minimal.
So are they going to say buy the 7900XT instead of this one, since its also a minimal difference?
Granted, we need proper reviews (good luck on that one) to see the numbers and then conclusion.

It's not only the influencers and reviewers but also the AMD GPU users, well most of them that complain about drivers and other games issues.

AMD have always been slow at releasing drivers for new cards and never got one on release first 6 months.

I would get a RDNA 2 or 3 like 6700-6800 for 1440p, if the prices were ok. But since the 2 year old cards are 450-650 Euro.......

That's what happens when high end gaming has a monopoly on many people's hobbies I guess.

Rarely is anything controlling in isolation, most of the time, several factors contribute in tandem.

Jensen would have hired data and financial analysts to be able to set a price that matches the supply he chooses to provide and the demand that gamers choose to have, taking into account the information asymmetry that always favours the corporation over a single individual or gamer community.

It would take an unnatural act, like a boycott, to upset the analysis of these paid professionals. But if the boycott is maintained only by those who already wouldn't buy anything, then it really is already accounted for in the analysis...
