Weekend Open Forum: Your favorite video game genre

I guess I'm just an FPS guy since I started out on Quake III Arena and Half-Life. I also like the RPG and RTS genres, but you'll usually find me playing CSGO, Titanfall 2, Battlefield 1, and pretty much any game like that these days.

For the last 10 years, I`ve been playing mostly shooters and RPG`s.

But my favorite game of all time is C&C Tiberian Sun. For me, its flawless.

Cs:go and Age of Empires and my favorite games of all time. Fps and real time strategy.

First Person Shooters (First Person games in general) simply because they're the most immersive. I've been playing them for over 20 years

FPS for sure. But depends on mood, 3rd person can be cool too. Also having the choice of views is good in racing games.

I love RPGs ranging from The Witcher and Fallout through Diablo style games

2. RPG old school dungeoncrawlers (EOB and the likes)
3. platformers
4. "modern" RPG's ... also MMO's (wow, skyrim, witcher etc.)
5. doom type games... non-multiplayer variantion.
