What's the next big tech purchase you intend to make?

I am considering buying a negative scanner to scan my old photo film negatives and put them into digital form.

Anyone have experience with these types of scanners? Please leave me your ideas here.

I just bought a house. Yes, a house is a tech purchase, has all kinds of tech built in. Need to start looking at some smart home stuff, I don't think my Nest will work in the new place without rerouting cabling for both HVAC zones. But fortunately, a know a guy.

I'm planning on starting to produce my own Youtube-content, and I want to do quality stuff.

I've realized that right now I need a new computer, as well as some kind of newbie camera to film myself with. I've since long been a Mac-fan, so I'm probably going to wait to get myslef this years update of the Macbook Pro or iMac (Right now I've got a MBP from 2010, so its due for an update anyways). As for the camera, right now I'm only looking to produce content on a small scale, as a hobby, so I think that the Hero4 would be okay.

I've read up on different guides about online marketing, and using social media to my advantage to promote my future youtube-channel. I don't want to give it all away here, but it will be pretty niched an unique, but I think some parts will find a broad appeal, and depending on how good I do, I think it has the potential to go viral.
