Which is better: Gigabyte Z370 HD3 or MSI Z370 Tomahawk?

Which one do you think is better: I'm getting an i7 8700k, and I'm using my pc mainly for gaming

From a price point, they both are about the same. I guess it's down to personal preference and what bells/whistles do each of them have. I've had Gibabyte and Asus mobo's before but never had a MSI mobo. Looking at the reviews on newegg.com....the Gigabyte board has a better over all review.

The MSI is not that great, if you consider overclocking I would actually suggest the Z370 Extreme 4.

Much as I like gigabyte go with msi they've been doing a better job at building more stable mobos.
If anything happens to the mobo and its not your fault, explain the problem to them and do everything they ask.
They will replace it without much grief, be sure to ship usps priority mail 3 day so they get it quickly.
I do it all the time when I need to rma, slap the label on the mobo box secure it on all 4 sides of the box.
