Which RAM is better?

    They are both very similar. I would go for the Corsair ones though since it has faster timings (9-9-9-24 vs the Trident's 10-12-12-31) and Corsair RAM is all-around phenomenal. It is both fast and reliable.

    I'd go for TridentX, I've been using them for IB and Haswell as primary sticks for over a years, so very strong sticks, I gonna need looser advanced timings so not quite up there performance wise

    What your seeing JC713 is the tested timings at 1333. The actual Timings at 2400 is the same as the Gskills at 10-12-12-31. So in other words with even the voltages they are exactly the same.

    I would go with Gskill for the price difference.

  5. For gaming it really does not matter, go with what ever is cheaper. For use with APU iGPU or virtualization then ram speed will help.
