Why Can't I send files to my Home Hub 3000?

Hi all,

I plugged a USB key to one of the 2 USB ports in my Home Hub 3000. I thought of using it as a repository for the 2 PCs that use this modem.
This allows me to get its files from either computer, but I can't send any files to it.
I have checked every setting I can think of in the modem, and the PCs. I also ensured that the USB is not "read-only", and I swapped it for a second USB just in case too.

So far I have used Windows 10 only.

Any ideas?

Thanks guys

Typically, any USB connections on a HUB or router are intended for HUB =>(usb slot).PC

You're attempting to use the USB as a NAS storage device and that will not work.

Some drives are not supported for this feature. Maybe your ISP can give you a list of supported drives. This should be somewhat easy though if your drive is supported. Plug the USB stick into the USB slot then on a PC navigate to \\mynetwork and the contents of the drive should show up for all network users.

Superb -- and notice it's the Hub 3000 that supports a USB thumbdrive
