Inactive WIN32 MEDFOS AQ

HELP. My avast, does not stop it, but when I scan says I have Win32 Medfos AQ in computer. It puts it in the chest, but I see no change in my computer. I can not download anything I have tried the virus removers and it starts to load then stops. I have tried to follow what forms say but I can not understand what they mean. Half my stuff will not open, my software for my camera will not even load. It is a mess. How can I get this off with out restoring my entire computer.
