This only affects my desktop hard-wired to router----but both wi-fi laptops are fine!!
I get a message can 't find network adapter. So the solution is download network adapter!===If I could download the driver----I would obviously have internet access!!!!!
So I restored WIN7----no problem ! Now I have a month to figure out what to do next time I switch!!
SO----any suggestions??

There's very likely a driver for the desktop but you have other options. I have two desktops and both were originally connected to the router using homeplugs and a wired ethernet connection. Since then I've upgraded my more recent PC, now running W10, by adding a wi fi card. It didn't cost much and I have an excellent connection. It is neater than adding an external USB wi fi dongle and it wasn't difficult to slot in.

Yeah . many users get the same problems. in the past , when I restore System I got the same trouble. it just need to install all drives into the PC. at that moment , I did not know how to fix. now I did know . :)
