Windows 7 x64 freezes on start up

Hi, about 7 times out of ten my pc will freeze during startup, a few seconds after login.

I usually have to keep hitting the reset button until it finally works. Safe mode never has this problem.

I assume windows creates logs and has logged the problem causing program/service?

Can someone help me find this little nuisance?

If you are able to boot into Safe Mode then you are most likely having a driver issue.

Go to Start > Run > type in EventVwr.msc > Okay. Are there any yellow trangles and especially Red Xs? if so, what are they pointing to?

It says Event Log service is unavailable. What's the service called so I can enable it? I can't see one with services.msc called Event Log.

I got event log working, there are no errors or anything like that.

Give us your hardware specs including make and model. Especially tell us the make and model of your power supply and the wattage it says it puts out.

Check all cables.
