Windows 8.1 display resolution (default)?

I had to upgrade a new install of Win7 and it took over 20 hours and several restarts. It is 'huge' and complex as it evaluates the specifics of your equipment and tries to get it all to work. Folks who buy mainstream systems have a slightly easier time. I cannot say the AIO is 'mainstream'.

Ok, I just downloaded the 8.1 update since it is no longer available in the MS store on the laptop. I am going to do another FULL system reset but when it comes time to install the MS updates, I will do them in smaller installments, unlike trying all 200 plus in one shot.

Maybe you need to update the firmware on the tv. Google it to get instructions. By the way what does the tv look like now?
