Windows media player error

I was saving a file from aptana studios 3.. by mistake I clicked on windows media player icon which was their on my desktop instead of the folder in which I wanted to save.. I got some pop ups sayin ur settings have changed. please insert windows cd to continue... now when I open my windows media player it doesn't open and shows the error *****\wmplayer.exe The parameter is incorrect.. what can I do to fix the problem? I am having windows xp. please help me..
