Windows Visio

So I'm currently working on a network map and was wondering if anyone had advice on how to best create a network map on Windows Visio. I'm looking to map out each room within the network on a separate tab within it and link each connection through the tabs so it will flip to the specified connection on that tab. In total it is approximately 15 rooms, 30 Windows based OS machines, 20 LaserJet printers routed through ExtendNet printer (hubs or routers I think, not 100% sure, ethernet cable goes in one end, parallel cable comes out the other) and a few switches and patch panels in racks in the larger offices. In essence I was hoping someone, anyone had ideas of how to make it easy to navigate the visual I'm setting up as well as functional and possibly even aesthetically appealing. (Although that last part is not necessary I want to try and make it look nice to impress my boss.)
Thanks a million!
