Mostly PC gets rebooted while using Azeureus (a torrent application) and today it is faced while using Firefox. I am also attaching MiniDump files generated due to the error.

All the crashes are caused by Sacm2A.sys, which is a USB modem driver

I would suggest that you either:
Update the drivers for your Modem

Or remove USB and use Ethernet instead, mind you, you probably need too update the Ethernet card drivers first

Thanks for letting me know root cause of the problem..

Hi Kims,
Thanks for letting me know root cause of the problem.. Actually, the problem has started with all this. My ISP has changed the IP settings to dymanic IP. Due to this, my PC could not get the IP address dynamically due to some error with connecting to DHCP server. As per engineers of ISP, they say there might be some problem with the ethernet card on my PC (it is an inbuilt card on the motherboard not a seperate). But when i connect thru USB modem, if connects.

Can u suggest how do i check if there is a problem with my ethernet card. Also, where do i get a updated drivers of my USB modem. I am using Scientific atlanta 2100 modem.

Thanks...

Hi...

Hi Kims,
So do u mean, there is a fault with the modem and not the ethernet card as cofirmed by the ISP call center exec. How can i check the proper working of the ethernet card since where ever i try to connect, it is not able to retrieve the dynamic IP from the Host server.

Thanks...

Disconnect the USB cable (maybe copy and paste this into Notepad first!)
Connect the ethernet

Go to Start-->Run-->CMD

On the command prompt type each of these commands followed by enter (6 Enters)

ipconfig /release
ipconfig /flushdns
ipconfig /registerdns
ipconfig /renew
net stop "DNS Client"
net start "DNS Client"
exit

Restart the modem

Does your Internet work now
