Wireless Network Sharing Problem

Trying to network share my laptop though Ethernet cable onto Xbox one. When ticking the box 'allow other network users to connect through this computers internet connection' I get an error message saying 'the specified service does not exist as a installed service'. How can I rectify this to allow me to share my internet connection. Thanks Jamie.

Likely you've misunderstood Sharing. Clicking on

'allow other network users to connect through this computers internet connection'​

is intended for this kind of setup:

Router ----> Pc ----------> other system

and I'm sure you really want

Router ----> Pc
   |
   + --------------------> Xbox

Plug the wires as show and the Xbox should be good to go
