It is really amazing to see this, the more so since gun related crime is so rare in my part of the world, yes we do have criminal elements,but they are more towards the parts that have a lot of terorist action goes on, but in the rest of the parts crimes involving knife(arroval asit is called here) is as much if not double that of other countries.

so it is not the instrument that causes havoc but people do it.

agreed. i know people who own (numerous) firearms and they wouldn't even shoot someone who broke into thier home. but then there's people who will take a tire-iron and beat someone into a coma for $2 from the victim's wallet.
