Won't boot in safe mode, safe mode set as default, reboot loop

Well my PC with Windows XP pro will not boot in safe mode.

Everytime it tried it just restarts itself.

Here's the real problem...

I went into msconfig and changed my boot options to boot into safe mode automaticly.

Now when I start my PC it is stuck in an infinite loop of booting and rebooting.

I press F8 and go to Start Windows Normally, but that doesn't work because I assume normally reffers to boot configuration assigned in msconfig.

I had no problems booting normally before hand.

I was trying to get into safe mode to run my anti-virus software because I somehow got a virus that prevents my spyware remover (malware'bytes) from being able to run and my ZoneAlarm from starting.

My pc will boot normally, but I dont know how to get it to do that since I changed normal booting to safe mode.

uhgggg... I think I really screwed up. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Yeah, this often happens, if you try, what you just did.

Did you try Last known good configuration?

Won't boot in safe mode

I have the same problem and tried last known good config but still does same,
Next time I'll leave msconfig boot options alone.

:dead:

Any help would be greatly apprieciated as this would save me from doing a full system restore.
