JSR: Don't take the comments too hard - at least I picked up on what you were trying to say (i.e. there's no point in people getting upset over nothing as life is too short etc.).

However, I wouldn't count on everyone picking up on your message as it was a little too obscure for some. Something to bear in mind in the future (though it's interesting to note that it is those that have already received criticism that are most likely to criticise other offenders - to even the playing field as it were).

Tommorrow is another day, and all will be forgotten. We all get stressed occassionally so it's nothing to worry about.

I think there is something in the idea of the doing away with the post counts altogether, and having some kind of ranking system which is decided by a pool of moderators.
