XFX Geforce 9600

I recently bought a XFX Nvidia 9600 GSO ( Newegg link ). I tried installing it and its not even recognized. Its getting power and I can hear the fan but nothing. I then contacted dell and they said that I need a better PSU but that they could not tell me the extact problem. I then bought a 580W ( Newegg link )PSU to replace my current 300W PSU. I just want to make sure that after this, I will definately be able to run my graphics card.. Its rather fusterating.

Yeah that will do it I had the same issue with a stock PSU added a 550 and the card runs great. you would have had to do that with any card that would be worth the upgrade.

i have the same card, but evga, and i had the same problem
if you just intall the driver it will work.

I just installed an MSI N9600GT in my rig, It has a Antec 450 Earthwatt PS and the card works perfectly
