Some guy in Japan playing with dry ice did that one. I've never seen a faster 1M pi.

I was looking around for info on that. Some guy named fugger in the U.S. using a 3 stage cascade cooler at around -120F I was looking at comments from mid Feb. saying he couldn't get it stable enough to load windows at that time. Obviously the above screen shot if real would seem to indicate he overcame that problem. However I have been using a 12V car vacuum for "super duper" cooling on my system

This has allowed me to get to 7.014GHz on my P4 2.8C

LOLz! Like CrossFire851, I wanna see a movie. I just don't trust pictures anymore. <g>

Some of the insane ocs may really be true, but my guess is most are fakes. For example I could say I'm a amd beta tester and I got my hands on a special cpu for testing and even post "proof" in a picture, like this.

But the picture doesn't mean anything, it's just a photoshop, so don't believe everything you read/see on the internet.

lol nice OC vnf.. do you use an extra large, super loud vacuum to cool that thing?

how do you live with that? a computer thats louder than you can speak. a lot louder =S

You know a while back I saw I think it was an 8GHz OC by a guy in Japan that had video of the rig (immersion cooling) showing him taking the clock readings. I'll see if I can find the link.

A Vantec Nexus NXP-205-BK fan speed controller of course. The main problem isn't the noise, it's the cat hair and the cost of the hepa-filters. <g>
