eddy -> Short for "Edison" (My REAL name). I was named "Edison" coz of my father's aspiration for me to be as successful as him.
05 -> My "signature" which I put at the end of my SMS or Pager MSG.

3rd Reason -> I used "eddy05" in all other e-mail and forum services, so I didn't bother to change it.

Heh, actually I tell people I got the name from FF7 because they could relate to it, they knew the game and the song that went along with it, A One-Winged Angel. Truth is I got it from the Latin opera that A One-Winged Angel was based off of...Heck I've never even played any Final Fantasy game :haha:

But I never did think of using Vehementi as a nick name until I heard someone playing FF7's soundtrack...

Ok, time for another meaningless post.

Really, I am wondering how formum members chose their usernames. Do any of these names mean anything?

My username is simply a shortened version of my real name.

However, names like 'iorioresent' , 'znurk', 'acidosmosis', etc. have me completely baffled.

My other online name is usually "God" or "UndeniablyGod". I was "JelloBones" for a while on the old forum.

I choose "God" names because I have a massive superiority complex.. Just kidding. Although the real reason stems from my middle school principal telling me something like that.

JelloBones was just something I came up with while researching "untaken" names.. It was something I wasn't able to find anywhere.. Although it is far cry from a tough guy name.

Well, about 4 years ago (when I was only 12 years old) I was flipping thru a Nintendo Power magazine. I was reading an article about Kirby64, and it listed various powers kirby could have. One of the powers gave kirb a lightning sword, and the picture was titled "Darth Kirby". I think that's where I got it...that was quite a while ago. But anyway, I thought the name was cool, so I used it for my Starcraft accout. Ever since then, due to lack of creativity or better ideas, I just kept that name for all other online games I played and forums I signed up on.

Although I did make one minor change recently, on the Star Wars: Galaxies chat room, I am known as DarthKirby007 (or DK007) for short.
