Zuckerberg to Meta staff "there are probably a bunch of people at the company that shouldn't...

Third photo is terrifying.

I know they're testing 'metaverse' on some conference, but that's the future of next generations. Mindless drones without any free will. Just methamphetamine and corporate overlords.

I'm so happy I won't live long enough to be part of this.

You have been Zucked... how that criminal is still running this company.

you mean the image with him being the only guy NOT wearing the headset?

yeah, it can be a dystopian's dream haha

No matter how you look at it, Zuck should be the FIRST to go .....
When Zuckerberg will go, this will be the official end of Meta-Facebook corporation, cause he thinks that he is Meta, oh I mean that hilarious, lame avatar of him which he showed to the world as a marvelous thing.

To be fair, Tech has been a huge bubble for a long time now. And a workforce thinning has been needed for a long time.

That being said, it is always upper management that really needs to be skimmed over.

The best starting point is to begin evaluating from the top. Oh, if anybody will do that, Zuckerberg may be the first to leave. His numerous bad decisions and mismanagement lead Facebook in this infamous position. We remember the Congress investigations, Cambridge Analitica, Instagram poisoning children and teenage minds with false or unrealistic standards etc. The conclusion will be that employees are fine, the management or mismanagement is the real issue. However all of this may be too late, this corporation is on a descendent trend for years and for good reasons. Can they reform and reinvent? Hard to do and only without Zuckerberg incompetence.

I agreed with you until you wrote ", Instagram poisoning children and teenage minds with false or unrealistic standards etc." Instagram is a platform only. The content on the platform is created by users and not by the platform. People searching out content that upsets them or makes them feel bad about themselves is on them. Blaming the platform just moves the blame away from the people who post negative media and the people who searched it out. You can't just blame the internet for all the bad stuff people post on it.

The problem with Instagram, which is own by Facebook, and also Facebook problem is that is actively promoting through it's skewed algorithms those toxic posts of some users in detriment of others.
In shorts words, Facebook and Instagram too often actively and intentionally promote stupidity instead of common sense.
Facebook and Instagram also have specifical algorithms designed to increase dependency to both platform and also to manipulate user to Facebook political and profit agenda. These are infamous Facebook responsibility, which were exposed by at least 2 Facebook former employees.
This Company is rotten to the core, is time to see it objectively even the truth about Facebook hideous agenda is shockingly for many people.
I doubt TikTok should be also absolved by any content they allow to be published, because in this situation some "Darwin awarded" teenage died. TikTok, Facebook, Instagram are responsible for these kind of content content which they actively promote, which may prove intent, because those kind of videos were recommended by the platform. EU is passing these days a law for this.

Ιn the US Navy, they say: "There are no bad teams, only bad leaders".

If you claim your sailors suck, you ARE gonna lose.

It all depends on how you define 'toxic'. Most people gladly label the truth as toxic, if it challenges their cherished views.

George Orwell wrote "Freedom is the ability to say that which other people do not want to hear." So if you want a free society, you need freedom of speech.

Let's keep it simple because many people confuse freedom of speech with "freedom" to harm or kill others and think after that the perpetrators and their accomplices (read social media companies) are not responsible. Like in those videos which tell others to starve them close to death, or to choke themselves and the media platforms promoting those, recommending them to other through their "algorithms".

Although children and teenagers like to think otherwise, children, and teenagers do not necessarily have the wisdom, or life experience, to discern what is harmful to themselves or others, in my opinion.

I highly doubt that Facebook's algorithms take age into account with recommending posts to its user base. All they care about is click counts which they can market to their advertisers.
