Say goodbye to the days of having to manually install and update your Minecraft mods. Lunar Client is an all-in-one modpack that includes, and automatically updates, all of your favorite mods.
Lunar Client also offers the most popular versions of Minecraft directly in our launcher. Lunar Client is completely free to use, and you miss out on zero features! However, if you would like you can support us by purchasing cosmetics in-game to improve your look.
Will Lunar Client boost my frame rate?
Yes, Lunar Client can boost your frame rate, especially compared to vanilla Minecraft. It includes built-in performance optimizations, like FPS boosting features and lightweight rendering, that often improve performance without needing extra mods.
Does Lunar Client support all Minecraft mods?
Lunar Client is a closed platform with a curated set of built-in mods, primarily geared towards PvP enhancements. It doesn't support adding external mods like Sodium or Iris. For broader mod compatibility, users often opt for alternatives like Fabric or Forge.
Is Lunar Client compatible with any Minecraft server?
Lunar Client is compatible with most Minecraft servers, especially popular multiplayer and PvP servers like Hypixel, Mineplex, and CubeCraft. It uses the same official Minecraft protocols, so it works just like the regular game client when connecting to servers.
Can I use my own texture pack in Lunar Client?
Any texture pack is compatible with Lunar Client and can be enabled ingame like you normally would. However, Lunar Client will not allow you to load "xray texture packs".
Countless Mods
Lunar Client offers over fifty customizable mods and hundreds of settings to enhance your Minecraft experience. Our mods are suited for players of every game mode, ranging from PvP to Skyblock. Some of the mods we offer include Replay Mod, Hypixel Mods, 1.7 Visuals, and Skyblock Addons. For a full list of mods, visit our mods page.
Boosted Frames
Thanks to our talented developers, and a little bit of magic, Lunar Client offers the most up-to-date performance enhancements. Have a bad computer? No problem! In most cases, your frames will nearly double. These enhancements are built into the client. There are also individual settings you can adjust to further improve your FPS such as full bright, chunk loading, and entity rendering.
Multi OS Support
Lunar Client supports all of the major operating systems including Windows, Linux, and macOS. We offer 32-bit and 64-bit variants for any Windows version above XP, as well as Intel and Apple Silicon variants for any macOS version above El Capitan. The Linux package is distributed as an AppImage which supports the major Linux distributions including Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora, Arch, and more.
